Nourish - a weekend of movement, stillness and breath to settle the mind and feed the soul

The changing of seasons are a time of transformation, change, nature and new beginnings. The transition from late spring to early summer is an opportunity to take stock, set our intentions and review those we might have made at New Year. A time for planting seeds to nurture, and to witness the unending cycle of growth and change.

During this 3 day retreat, Kat will guide you daily through various practices; mindfulness to bring you into the present moment, breathwork to increase vitality and calm the nervous system, asana to improve circulation, bodily awareness and energy and yoga nidra to promote deep rest and develop our connection to your authentic self.

There will be plenty of time to be in nature, to walk, to read, to rest or to book a massage or organic facial treatment.

You will be nourished by the fresh mountain air and Katrien’s delicious cooking. And for the ones who want to expèriment more in the kitchen, optionally you can take part in an intuitive cooking workshop.

We look forward to sharing this special weekend with you. The classes will be given in English, but translations into Spanish can also be provided.

Anyone can participate, even those who have never done yoga before.

Programme

You are very welcome on Thursday 1 June in the late afternoon (from 4 pm onwards); before coming up, feel free to have a swim in the lake (Pantà de San Antoni at Pobla de Segur) or go for a walk. Welcome at 19:30, dinner at 20:00

The last lunch will be served on Sunday.

10:00-12:00 Yoga/breathing work/guided meditation

13:00: Brunch lunch

14:30-18:30: Free time or time for optional activities

Optional activities: massages or Intuitive Cooking workshop

18:30-19:30: yin yoga, breathing work & yoga nidra

Accommodation, Food & Rates

ACCOMMODATION: 
You will be staying at Casa Pep (with a natural swimming pool) and Casa Vall i Vell. These houses’ bedrooms sleep two. If you would like one of the bedrooms to yourself (i.e. to sleep just one), please contact us asap. First come first served, there is obviously limited availability! A supplement will be charged.

FOOD: 
We will be serving healthy & creative vegetarian food.

Standard price: 425 euros

Private room supplement: 105 euros 

Bed linen charge: 15 euros (no charge if you bring your own, contact us for bed sizes).

2) Intuitive Cooking Workshop

Katrien Claus, author of the book Intuitive Cooking, will be serving you an inspiring workshop. She will:  

·        help you reconnect with your senses and intuition
·        provide you with cooking tips, tricks and ideas to keep on experimenting and creating your own recipes
·        guide you to eat healthier and reduce your ecological “foodprint”
·        suggest succulent sources of inspiration         

 And it doesn’t matter whether you’re a meat or fish lover, a vegetarian or vegan; she  can adapt to all tastes! she’ll help make life in and out of the kitchen more fun and sustainable!

Kathryn Chuck 

Yoga teacher, holistic therapist; I’m known for my gentle and compassionate approach. My classes are insightful, non-dogmatic and accessible to all. I continue to deepen my practice daily .An eternal student and seeker of wisdom, I am currently completing a 500hr advanced yoga training, expanding my knowledge and continuing on this journey of self-discovery.

Raising a family off-grid in the mountains, whilst studying and running a business, I recognise the challenges and demands of modern living. I understand how sustainability of body, mind and environment are not only an ongoing process but an essential ingredient to a balanced and content existence. I invite my students to slow down, look inward, to discover the wonder and wisdom within themselves.
